Nanomechanical Systems

The great progress in nanotechnology field brought to the possibility of fabricating nanoscale resonating devices with improved sensitivity and resolution. Our research is focused on the design and characterization of nanomechanical systems for fundamental studies and sensing applications. We also investigate the nanomechanical properties of 1D and 2D nanostructures of inorganic and organic materials, such as suspended nanowires or atomic thin membranes.
